The company “Fábrica de Faianças Artísticas Bordalo Pinheiro” was created by the renowned Portuguese artist Bordallo Pinheiro in 1884. Bordallo was a famous cartoonist and an influent social and political commentator that used humour to narrate reality. Two centuries after, the factory is still in operation and his designs have proven to be timeless.
