Bordallo Pinheiro's factory was founded, in Caldas da Rainha, in 1884 by the Portuguese caricaturist Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro.
Nowadays the factory still uses the original moulds and most of the process is done by hand always with Bordallo Pinheiro sense of humour.
This piece is from the brand's art collection and it's handmade.
The swallows are an icon of Bordallo Pinheiro and spring.
